Chris Pick brings extensive executive leadership experience in go-to-market strategy and marketing initiatives across identity and access management, cybersecurity, and SaaS. Most recently, Chris led marketing as CMO for Transmit Security, a $100M+ revenue cybersecurity company based out of Tel Aviv, Israel. Prior to his role at Transmit Security, he was CMO for 11 years at two Andreessen Horowitz (A16Z) portfolio companies – initially in 2010 when they made their first investment in Apptio, and then in 2019 for their largest investment in Tanium. At Tanium, he was tasked with transforming the company’s go-to-market strategy. At Apptio, he spent close to a decade building the company, conducting a successful initial public offering in 2016 (NASDAQ: APTI), and in 2019 positioned the $2B acquisition of the company to Vista Equity. Prior to Apptio, Chris held several leadership roles including CEO-In-Residence at Austin Ventures, CMO and Vice President of Products at NetIQ, and as a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young.
