Nik has worked for over 25 years to enhance trust and security across the financial system by advising many of the largest global financial institutions and most innovative technology firms. He is a recognized thought leader passionately helping to define the future of identity, authentication, fraud prevention, and financial crime management.
Nik has developed and implemented a range of operating model transformations, digital product strategies, maturity assessments, risk assessment frameworks, control architecture roadmaps, tech platform strategies, and analytics capabilities.
He has led large and complex initiatives across digital banking, payments, customer onboarding, digital identity, cybersecurity, authentication, fraud prevention/detection, client protection, claims/disputes, AML, KYC, sanctions, and operational risk management domains. His work includes helping clients navigate complex regulatory and legal matters in cooperation with the US Federal Reserve, OCC, CFPB, NY-DFS, FINRA, US Department of Justice, NY Attorney General, and numerous European and Asian regulators.
Before Liminal, Nik held leadership positions at EY, IBM, and BNP-Paribas. Most recently, he co-led EY’s Financial Services Fraud and Identity Consulting practice. He attended the NYU Stern School of Business. In his spare time, Nik shares his love of the mountains as a volunteer ski instructor. He makes a mean lasagna.
