Raman has over 20 years of experience in executive leadership and advisory roles in the Digital Identity space. As Chief Innovation Officer, he led teams to develop biometric tokenization technology for zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) exchanges, including virtual identity, payment wallets, and smart multi-dimensional tokens. While at Mastercard, he identified Trust Stamp as a potential technology provider. He was instrumental in defining the Humanitarian and Development (H&D) Digital Identity Strategy, tokenizing biometrics, and filing six significant patents designed for a more inclusive identity to support the underserved and displaced population. Under his leadership, Mastercard’s Inclusive Identity product has been recognized as one of the most innovative products in 2020 by leading industry forums. Raman was also appointed to represent Mastercard as an expert to contribute to the Smart Vaccination Certificate technical specifications and standards to the WHO.
