
Rick Lynch
Rick is the Chief Financial Officer at Liminal, where he leads finance, accounting, financial planning and analysis, and partners with the executive team on capital strategy, fundraising, and long-term business planning as Liminal scales. He also works closely with the board on financial strategy and growth investments.
Rick is the former CFO of Mailchimp, a leading global SMB marketing platform, where he was part of the leadership team that drove the company's growth and long-term value creation, leading up to its $12 billion acquisition by Intuit, the largest in history for a bootstrapped technology company. Earlier in his career, he was a co-founder and Executive Committee member at TechCXO, a professional services firm that pioneered the on-demand executive model, where he spent over a decade providing CFO, strategy, and M&A advisory to high-growth technology companies. He also co-founded PivotalTech Partners, an advisory firm providing fractional CFO, board, and M&A guidance to venture-stage and lower-middle-market companies. He began his career as a CPA with Arthur Andersen & Co. in Atlanta.
Rick holds a BS in Business Administration and Management from The Citadel and an Executive MBA from Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business.
